The new comprehensive price and product overview, valid from 1 October 2011, offers a practical overview of the Denz range and illustrates the many different room design options. In addition to this classic Denz product’s finish in either standard wood or in two innovative recycling materials, OSB and MDF, a customized finish in solid wood is now also available. D3 modules and tables are available in American walnut, ash and oak. The wood is glued-laminated and is therefore of exceptionally high quality and superior appearance – an exclusive option for very special office furnishing or for use at home. The use of a variety of finishes for the modular frames and tops provides many different possibilities for attractive combinations, for example combining synthetic resin or NCS colors with solid wood. On Designers’ Saturday 2010 Denz presented a highly functional mobile workstation and the exclusive Monochromes collection. The mobile dmt workstation – the abbreviation stands for Denz and Matteo Thun – is a practical office table, mobile pedestal and storage unit in one. CEO Jürg Winterberg worked closely with renowned architect and designer Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez to bring the project, which was developed at Denz, to completion.

Our new pricing structure as of 1 May 2010 significantly reduces office table prices among others. The comprehensive new Denz price list and product catalogue gives a convenient overview of our offering, and illustrates the versatility of Denz furnishing options. It can be downloaded in Swiss franc or Euro prices, and the German listing is also available in printed form.
Our product range innovations include the following among others:

• The module offering has been extended with an H5 vertical module and a media duct with document drawer.
• Tables: the Standard Plus and Edition Plus models, and the sitting-standing table type B, are now available also in 160 cm and 200 cm widths. New table accessories (CPU supports) are also available. And thanks to more favourable supplier conditions, the prices of our solid core tops have been reduced by up to about 20 percent.
• The new Denz caddy station is an open module for storing two desk-sharing caddies.

All the new products at a glance

Scale – smaller modules
Denz has fine-tuned the dimensions of its range by introducing smaller modules that permit new ways of using and furnishing the space available. Scaling makes it easier to subdivide rooms precisely and to create small, secluded areas. It also offers new possibilities in the form of small, above-table storage spaces, which can be used for personal items or office utensils. In addition to the previous basic size of 80x40 cm, Denz now also supplies new modules 20 cm deep in widths of 40/80/100 cm and heights 20/40/70 cm.

Bridge
Bridge is an innovative extension to the Denz D3 modules. As its name suggests, Bridge connects adjacent items and creates useful spaces in ways previously unknown in the office furniture field. Rather like a compartment-type carrier, Bridge is positioned and secured in the open sides of the profiles. Modules and aluminium shelves can then be freely suspended between vertical combinations of modules. Freely positionable aluminium shelves also facilitate the creation of open module segments (without a rear panel).

New table extension
Denz D3 office tables can now be fitted with an extension. This allows users to work across the corner of the table, has been ergonomically optimized and offers unlimited freedom of leg movement. The extension can be retrofitted to all Denz D3 Standard and Edition office tables. Width 60 cm, length 80/100/120 cm.

Central locking
Central locking is now also available for A6 drawers and cable guides (also with utensil drawer).

Fast interlocking
This new mechanism involves simple engagement of the connecting components and guarantees extremely secure interlocking. The earlier connecting system is fully compatible with the new solution. When connecting new units to old ones, simply remove the old mounting pin using the supplied lever and press in the new mounting screw. When connecting old to new, simply remove the new mounting screw and press in the old mounting pin.

Self-closing drawers
Denz D3 office drawers now feature damped, self-closing runners for greater convenience. They are mounted as standard on all new items. The self-closing runners for Denz D3 modular drawers have also been improved.

Adjustable feet
The new non-slip feet for the Denz D3 modules guarantee a firm footing on all types of floors.

Reinforced shelves
All the wooden shelves in Denz D3 modules are now reinforced with metal strips. This combination of materials guarantees a very high level of resistance to bending. This innovation applies to all basic modules, tables and add-on shelf units.

Denz was also an exhibitor at this year's international Meeting Place for Design in Langenthal. The special character of the event was highlighted by placing visitors in centre stage in an atmosphere that reflected the nature of the exhibits. All the glamour of a premiere or first night with lightning effects, paparazzi and "actors" in the form of figures resembling overhead projectors formed the framework for an exceptional, projection-based staging of the product: a rotating Denz D3 module.
