A few basic elements and a well-thought-out design play the main role. The shelves are simply inserted into the external and central side panels and screwed tight. An Allen key and a handful of screws are all that is needed to fix the components safely and securely into position. The panels and front sections as well as the accessories – from inclined shelves to bookends – are made of acrylic and simply positioned using standardized slots.

D5 can be assembled quickly and simply and, if necessary, rearranged. The variable basic shelf is available in three standard grid widths and two standard grid heights. By using panels, shelves and drawers to suit individual requirements, the function and appearance of the shelves can be freely determined. The characteristic grid structure is always retained.
